KMPT (930 AM) is a news/talk-formatted radio station licensed to East Missoula, Montana, serving the Missoula area. The station is owned by Gap West Broadcasting.

Prior to acquiring the new call sign, KMPT was known as KLCY. The station changed to its current call letters on January 1, 2008.

KMPT is no longer a Progressive broadcast station. It has become a far right wing station.Edit

OwnershipEdit

In October 2007, a deal was reached for the station (then known as KLCY) to be acquired by GAP Broadcasting II LLC (Samuel Weller, president) from Clear Channel Communications as part of a 57 station deal with a total reported sale price of $74.78 million.
